Brow Talk

I love a good eyebrow but they're hard to get just right - everyone has their own favourite look whether it's a thick, thin or messy brow. I was trying to find a picture of my brows back in 2010 where I decided over plucking them was a really good look but alas, fortunately I had deleted them all.

But anyways, moving on. I've had a rough time with the ole' brows as they can run rampant but I've come up with an array (honestly) of products that leave them looking somewhat groomed and put together. Personally, I'm not a fan of the HD Brow look but prefer a more natural look so if you are looking for a way to achieve the instagram brow look, turn right around.

For filling in my brows, I can't live without a pencil - my ultimate favourite is Soap&Glory Brow Archery which is basically a dupe for the Anastasia Brow Wiz and the Hourglass equivalent. It's great for filling in any sparse patches and just defining your basic shape. Once I've coloured in the basic shape, I reach for my Anastasia Brow Pomade to fill out the arch and deepen the colour.

Once I've got my basic shape sorted, the next step is a brow gel and this honestly depends on the type of look I'm going for. If I'm going out and want a bolder look, I love the L'Oreal Brow Plumper which adds a good amount of colour to the brows whilst setting it in place. But if I'm just heading to university, I love my Maybelline Brow Drama which has a much smaller wand and doesn't transfer as much colour but also holds the brows in place.

What are some of your brow go to's? Any favourites?
