The Asian Beauty Haul

As I've had the opportunity to go shopping in Asia, I decided to pick up some Asian beauty products and headed into SaSa which is essentially a Sephora for Asian brands. Because most of the products in there were in Korean and Japanese, a lovely sales assistant helped translate!

Japanese & Korean skincare brands are always miles ahead of the UK so I gravitated towards the skincare, especially the sheet masks. I have incredibly dry skin so I love anything moisturising and most of the sheet masks were moisturising or brightening so it was right up my street. They were doing an incredible deal (each one was 40p) so I now have ten to try out. Watch this space for reviews.

On my skincare hype, I spotted what appeared to be an Acid Toner called a "mildly peeling lotion" which sounds terrifying but it isn't. I've used this a couple of times and it reminds me a lot of Liquid Gold but less stingy. It uses something called Gluconic acid which I've not actually seen used in a toner (usual suspects include salicylic or Glycolic) so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Obviously I've not noticed a drastic difference but I'll let you know if I do.

And finally, I picked up an eyeliner which the shop assistant said lived up to it's claims that it's waterproof so of course I was sold. A pen eyeliner that lasts 24hours? Yes please.

I picked up a couple of extra products for a giveaway so watch this space!
