H&M Spring/Summer 2013

H&M has really been pulling out all the stops lately from a collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela and rumours of a future collaboration with Givenchy. But their latest Spring/Summer 2013 is just beautiful. It may sound like an odd word to use, but that is what it is. Beautiful.

The emphasis on reds, cremes and black really do add a fierce streak to a typically whimsical season. The use of prints on both trousers, shorts and skirts is quite unique but I really do like it. The high necklines really do add a more androgynous look that I do actually really like. The use of studs and bedazzled motifs is quite unusual for a spring/summer collection but the mirrored effect does seem to work! I am actually so excited for this collection to hit the shelves as I have my eye on that tasselled skirt!
