An Insta-Weekend: Northern Quarter Wanderings

One of my favourite places in Manchester is the Northern Quarter as there is just something unique to it - whether that be the independent cafes, the vinyl exchanges or the quirky shops scattered about, I love it.

On Saturday, one of my friends came to stay for the weekend and we went into Manchester for a good old explore. After a coffee at the Nexus Art Cafe, we went exploring and got a little lost but I managed to take a couple of snaps along the way!

[Started the day with Brunch @ Expo Lounge in Didsbury. Bacon pancake stack with golden syrup = yum!]

[ How amazing is this denim jacket I snagged for a fiver from a charity shop!]

[Being cultured and all @ Manchester Art Gallery]

[The wall outside the bathroom at the Nexus Art Cafe is lined with concert posters.]

[The graffiti on this wall is everchanging yet remains deep and meaningful.]

All in all, it was a fantastic day and I really enjoyed it - especially as the sun was shining! Next time though, we'll definitely be stopping in at The Blue Pig which looked amazing but was unfortunately rammed with people!
