The Favourites: Met Gala 2014
The Met Gala is one of the biggest fashion events of the year and everyone turns out dressed to the nines. There were so many dresses to die for and even the men pulled out all the stops in the suits!
Kendall Jenner looked phenomenal - on her Met Gala debut she wore a custom made Topshop gown that looked gorgeous. The simple dress was brought to another level by its fishtail design which was unbeknowingly flattering to her svelte figure. Her simple hair and makeup and few accessories really
really made her dress the star of the outfit.Leighton Meester's plunging gold dress was everything glitz and glamour should be - simple yet stunning. Although it was revealing, Leighton had the figure to pull it off - however, I would have preferred it if she had her hair up - it would have added an air of formality to the outfit.
Suki Waterhouse is my absolute favourite model and the star of the Burberry Brit Rhythm campaign turned up in head to toe in Burberry in a custom made gown that was once again flawless. I am a massive fan of ballgownesque gowns - especially on the red carpet and Suki really stood out agains the more figure hugging designs.
One of the few celebrities in a short dress was Rosie Huntington-Whitely. Wearing Balmain, her whole outfit screamed warrior princess and with legs that are a mile long, I can definitely see why she went for a shorter dress. The lace up cage heels were perfect for the dress, adding a more spunky feel to the whole look.
