Face of The Day: Blue Liquid Liner?

[Do I fail as a beauty blogger if I told you that my favourite eyeshadow pallette of the moment is from H&M?]

I recently became the proud owner of Eyeko liquid liner in Navy, now this wasn't a purchase (don't worry Mum), it in fact came free with this months edition of Glamour which I picked up because of an interesting article about Christianity in it (read it, it was really good!). Plus, Alexa Chung was on the cover, need I say more?

However, I didn't actually realise that the liquid liner was in navy and was somewhat cautious of using it simply because I've never tried it before! I tend to prefer thick black lines across my eyelid thank you very much. Nonetheless, I gave it a try and found it was perfect for a more understated look plus my eyes didn't look naked. 

So I gave it a whirl and swapped out the harsh black lines that my L'Oreal liquid liner gives me for a subtler navy blue. The look above is my typical summer makeup look, switching my Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation for their Matte 8 in 1 BB Cream which is a much lighter coverage which is perfect for summer!

My current blush of choice is 'Nude' from 17, bronzer is from Boujois, mascara is Max Factor False Lash Effect and lipgloss is H&M (their makeup isn't that bad. Sue me.)

And voila! Throw on a bit of nude lipgloss and you're good to go!
