A Look Back on 2014

2014 has been a massive year for me personally and my blog. I feel like so much has happened that I genuinely struggled coming up with pictures to describe me year and I still doubt I've found them! So instead I decided to come up with my five top moments over the year as a person and as a blogger.

I've recently started at university after taking a GAP year where I decided what to do with my life and more importantly, what I wanted to do at university! In the end, I'm now studying Literature and creative writing and it is the perfect choice for me and I'm loving every second of it.

I moved out  of where I had been living last year and moved into university halls which meant downsizing quite a lot into a smaller room and learning to live with other people. I've been in halls for three months now and it's been great - my room is finally how I like it and it is well on it's way to feeling like home. We've also signed for a house for next year and it feels very grown up!

I've taken the blog more seriously I now post every Tuesday and Thursday bar the last week where things have been slightly more confusing because of Christmas and New Year but scheduling my posts and tweets has meant I've got far more of an online presence!

Attending blog events has become far more frequent now and I adore meeting brands I love and getting the opportunity to meet up with more bloggers from the Manchester area.

I now have bangs! My hair has pretty much been in the same style for the past four years and it was a massive deal to step away from my comfort zone and have a fringe cut which I haven't had since I was five! But I adore it and think it looks incredible with a cat eye.

And finally, I'm a shortlisted finalist for the Fashion/Retail category for the UK Blog Awards 2014! Thank you so much to everyone who voted, it's incredible to think I've reached this stage!
