Oscars 2015 Fashion Recap

I must admit, I find award shows rather long to watch all in a single take but I adore the red carpet looks that go alongside them and I decided to share my top five looks from the red carpet!

There are some years where the fashion is interesting... but this year it's been incredible. One of my all time favourite looks has to be Suki Waterhouse who wore a plunging Burberry dress which was sure to draw the eye. I have a soft spot for Miss Waterhouse (who was partially responsible for my bangs) so really it's no surprise she made my top five!

Gigi Hadid is one of the top models of the year and she certainly showed it with her dress at the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party. Her legs looked miles long in her Versace Couture dress, which left nothing to the imagination. Major body envy right here!

Now, Zendaya was someone who had never really cropped on my radar till now . She wore a stunning Vivienne Westwood wedding dress and was stunning. She looked unbelievable and it's no surprise that she's one of the breakout style stars for this season!

Gone Girl was definitely one of my favourite films from the past year and is well worth a watch if you haven't seen it, but I was definitely rooting for Rosamund Pike to win at the Oscars, but although she didn't come away with an award, she still looked incredible. Wearing a deep scarlet Givenchy Haute Couture gown, she looked stunning and definitely stood out from the crowd. Can you believe she's only just had a baby?

From the first moment I laid eyes on Emma Stone in Easy A, I was transfixed. She was wonderfully goofy and downright hilarious yet always managed to look phenomenal on the red carpet. The uniquely coloured Elie Saab gown was perfect for the occasion and once again Emma looked sophisticated and classy, and has definitely continued to remain in her spot as one of the best dressed.
