Ultimate Liquid Liner Round Up
[Liquid Liners in swatch - top to bottom: Collection 24 Hour Liquid Liner, Collection Waterproof Fast Stroke Liner, L'Oreal Liquid Liner, L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim]
I love liquid liner. I adore it and wear it on a daily basis so you can guarantee I've tried pretty much all of the drugstore ones available. Ever since I got a fringe, my desire to look like Alexa Chung has increased and hence came the liquid eyeliner...
One of the easiest eyeliners to use if you're a complete beginner has to be Collection 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner which is basically like a sharpie. It gives a lovely line although it's not the boldest black I've ever seen, it still gives the overall look. However, it does tend to dry out after a couple of weeks but for the price of £2.99 you can't really complain!
Another cheap but brilliant eyeliner is (another) Collection Waterproof Fast Stroke Liner and as it is a liner in the form of a pot, the line is a lot more intense. But, if you're not quite the eyeliner pro, it can be quite tricky to apply and takes quite a few times to get it right. But once you've mastered it, the liner lasts all day through rain and shine (trust me, I live in Manchester).
The L'Oreal Liquid Liner in the gold bottle (there are two!) was one of the first eyeliners I ever used and like the Collection Fast Stroke, it involves a pen and pot. The nib of the pen is quite thick so it gives more of a graphic line than precise but it lasts all day! Once again, you need to master the flick before you reach for this one but it's probably one of the better liners out there!
My current favourite however, is the L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim which is brilliant. Personally, I've moved away from bold liners and prefer a thiner and more precise version, so this is perfect. It's a felt tip liner however, it's a really intense black and is yet to dry out on me!
