Back to University with Matalan

September is only around the corner which means university is on the horizon and with that means it's time to get those student halls or your student house to feel like a home which can sometimes be trickier than initially expected.

But having lived in (tiny) student halls and now in a (thankfully) bigger house, I know how hard it can be to fit everything into a space with little to no extra storage space but with a limited budget, it makes this even trickier. Which is why I've collaborated with Matalan and picked out some things to help you on your way

back to uni

, all for less than £50.

The first thing I'm obsessed with, is this

Salter Bottle Blender

. Similar to more expensive nutribullets, this is perfect if you rarely have time for breakfast or simply need an easy cleanable blender for those culinary adventures. I love this for breakfast on the go and tend to make myself a green smoothie in it. So quick, easy and mess free. Plus it's tiny and fits easily into small spaces.

But organisation wise, I've also picked up this

three pack of dry food storage

which is brilliant for storing any of your dry goods! I've used mine for oats, pasta and shreddies. It helps reduce the amount of cardboard and helps maximise storage space in your cupboards.

On the theme of reducing cardboard and making everything looks nice and organised are these two caddies, one for

laundry powder

and the other for

cleaning

. I used to just leave my laundry powder in the box but I found by the end of the first semester, the box was starting to disintegrate and powder was subsequently leaking out of it. This metal box is a great way to improve how it looks but is also practical and comes with a little metal scoop for it. The cleaning caddy I keep in my bathroom just to organise standard items and make it look a bit better.

But it wouldn't be a back to university post without some stationary. I'm currently obsessed with gold foiling so this

notebook

was an instant win in my book and these

matching pens

just completed the look.

What do you think of my back to uni choices from Matalan?
