A First Look at The Gateway

Just a stone's throw from Manchester city center is Lovell Homes’ popular development, The Gateway. I was kindly invited by the team to come and have a nosy and it was beautiful! The Gateway’s beautiful townhouses are now fully reserved but its collection of two-bedroom apartments were launched only recently. They sit as part of a low-rise building - which is such a nice alternative to the traditional high-rise buildings that litter Manchester.

Located Ancoats way, The Gateway is part of a new community that balances proximity to town with a bit of quietness that is just outside the city centre offers. Plus did I mention there's plenty of secure parking too?

I was given a tour of one of the show apartments and honestly, it was beautiful. A two-bedroom apartment with a surprising amount of storage - every detail has been carefully thought through. Considering the development is located so close to the city, the apartments are spacious - with large double bedrooms, ensuites, and a spacious kitchen living space.

The living room, spacious and well-lit, featured large windows that framed the views out onto the gated development. The minimalist decor and carefully selected furnishings created an inviting ambiance, making it easy to see myself relaxing in this cozy haven. Adjacent to the living room was the heart of the home – the kitchen. The developers have masterfully crafted this space to cater to the needs of a small family, couple, or friends living together. It was impressive to see how seamlessly the kitchen merged with the living area, emphasizing an open-concept layout that fosters a sense of togetherness.

I won't lie when I say I’ve not visited many new build apartments, but from the location to the parking facilities to the surprising amounts of storage, it’s ticking all the boxes - especially as a prospective new home.
