Gaming Date Ideas
In a world plagued with a pandemic (pun entirely intended), socially distanced dates are the new norm, and with Valentines Day right around the corner, there are plenty of opportunities for you to have a wonderful time even if you're not able to see your significant other in the way you may have preferred. If you're a gamer and looking for an alternative date idea to spend time with your partner, this is the post for you - as I have a few ideas that will help you keep the romance alive.
A shared gaming experience If your partner enjoys gaming, then why not play something online together? Gamers date geek dating is a great way to meet others into gaming. If you're nervous or are in isolation, this is the perfect way to bond and spend some time together. There are so many online multiplayer games from word games to puzzles, that you'll easily be entertained for hours. It's cute, right? Of course, if you play any other games together - play them. It's about spending time together that matters.
A multi-level gaming scavenger hunt I love a scavenger hunt - and these can be just as fun online as in person. If you met your partner through a gamer girl dating app, you can even incorporate elements of how you met such as one of the clues being one of the first things you said to each other. Why not make it personal? If you're living together or able to meet up in a safe way, you could even consider doing a scavenger hunt in real life. Not only will this be fun to do, but the planning will add plenty of fun to a quiet lockdown day.... If you're a big fan of puzzles, why incorporate puzzles into it such as crosswords or a sudoku?
Unplug together Now I have to admit, this idea is not my own but is a recommendation from this post, but if the two of you are fans of gaming, why not try a complete electronics-free night? Whether this means going on a walk somewhere where the phone signal is none existent, or choosing to just turn off your mobile and computer, this could be a fantastic option to reconnect over. Why not play a board game to play at the same time? As a naturally competitive person, I'm always a fan of a monopoly game to really bond over...But hey, don't blame me if it results in a couple of arguments...
Online Escape room If you're a fan of gaming, why not consider trying an escape room? If you're not able to go to one in person, plenty of escape rooms are offering online equivalents which are a great way to combine a love of games and puzzles with an escape room. They say escape rooms are make or break for relationships so why not give one a whirl? The benefit of being able to do an online one is that you get to stay home which means no one has to witness any arguments.... A win win right?
