Inside My Gym Makeup Bag + Gym Proof Makeup

Let me be clear, I don't really wear makeup intentionally to the gym, but who am I kidding, I'm not about to cleanse my face of makeup after work before I sweat. Ain't nobody got time for that. But I'm also not prepared for mascara eyes after a spin class.

My daily makeup is pretty sweat proof as I find my skin ups the oil when I'm in a dry office environment but I always wear a primer + BB Cream. I'm still head over heels for both NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser and the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue. I normally go for the NARS one for a more high coverage base and bareMinerals for an everyday base. I follow this by a good dusting of Bourjois Healthy Mix Powder to prevent any shine - I even put a bit on my eyelids to prevent my liquid eyeliner transferring.

My eyebrow routine is always the same - Soap&Glory Brow Archery 2 in 1 Brow Pencil followed by the new Benefit Gimme Brow which is waterproof so ideal for keeping brow hairs in check during the day. I tend to also keep the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil in my gym bag so I don't lose my beloved Soap & Glory version.

Eye-wise, I'm loving NYX Vinyl Liquid Liner which lasts forever if you powder your eyelids. And then a lick of Maybelline Lashsensational Waterproof Mascara seals the deal.

I then finish it off with a setting spray - depending on how my skin is looking, I go for either MAC Fix + or L'Oreal Lasting Finish Setting Mist. This all lasts through the gym. I take a little travel size bottle of my Una Brennan Super Facialist Cleansing Oil so that when I'm done with my workout, I can cleanse my face properly.

Hair wise I've been loving the OGX Argan Oil Spray which is a dry oil that I spray onto damp oil to detangle my hair and make sure I'm not drying it out too much. If I have time, I'll also pop on the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle hair mask and then sit in the sauna or steam room for about fifteen minutes. Makes my hair soft and shiny.

After the gym, because I'm often just heading straight home, my gym makeup varies but if I do need to see people, I keep a spare brow pencil, brow gel, concealer and mascara so that I look somewhat presentable.
