About four months ago, you may have seen my brand focus on Caudalie skincare and in the spirit of French Pharmacy brands, I decided to highlight some of my favourites from La Roche Posay. I've been a huge fan of La Roche Posay as it's pretty affordable yet absolutely brilliant. It's my go to brand for most things as it's fragrance free and gentle on the skin, which makes it ideal for anyone who wants a gentler skin option! I'm a huge fan of stripped back makeup and I love that the brand isn't overly fussy and everything does what it says on the tin. Whilst it doesn't have numerous ranges, I find most of their products suit a variety of skin types and work well for most.

So let's break it down with some of my favourites.

Their Anthelios Invisible Fresh Mistis probably one of my favourite spray suncreams. I hate wearing suncream on my face as most brands break me out and that's the last thing I want on holiday! It's factor 50 which is amazing so there's no doubting how ideal it is for Summer. The consistency is completely different to any other spray suncream I've tried as it doesn't leave my face shiny at all. I'm heading to New York towards the end of July so I'll definitely be bringing this along as I've heard it gets pretty hot in the Big City.

It wouldn't be a post about La Roche Posay without mentioning their Effaclar Duo which is my all time favourite product for under the skin spots. It's a lovely lightweight formula that leaves my skin feeling smooth and really helps to clear up any sinister looking under-skin spots threatening to erupt. I recommend this to all my friends and my brother (who has more problem skin) has used this and it's seriously cleared up his skin! It's great for general skin condition so I often reach for it if I'm after a lightweight moisturiser option.

I've never tried any makeup from La Roche Posay but I was recently sent the Respectissime Multi-Dimension Mascaraand it has fast worked itself into my daily makeup routine. It's incredibly lengthening to the extent where I've never seen my lashes look as long. I find after a few coats, it adds a good amount of volume but I'd definitely say it works better for lengthening. My only issue is that it isn't waterproof but I'll deal with it, because I love it that much.

And finally is my new favourite makeup remover, the Respectissimie Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover*. It's a bi-phase consistency that so easily removes all eye makeup without the need for rubbing your eyes. I wear contact lenses so often bi-phase or oily makeup removers irritate my eyes but this is so gentle that it doesn't do irritate them. It doesn't leave an oily residue and just makes removing my seriously waterproof liquid liner an absolute breeze.

So there you have it. My favourites from La Roche Posay. I've tried far more than I've included in this post but wanted to almost create an edit of items that are essentials.

Have you tried La Roche Posay? What are some of your favourites?
