I've lived in rented accommodation for the majority of my life. When my family moved to Asia, we were always in rented accommodation, so I've never slept on a bed that has had a mattress that I've personally chosen. And to be honest, it's never something I've really thought about. So when Leesa Sleep asked if I'd like to review one of their mattresses, I jumped at the chance. And it's completely revolutionised the way I sleep.

Leesa Sleep is a company that creates incredible mattresses that are delivered, vacuum sealed and in a box. To be honest, this was definitely a bit of a novelty factor as it meant that I didn't have to worry about how I was going to get a double mattress up three flights of stairs and there would definitely be no Ross from Friends "PIVOT" moments... (The mattress is still quite heavy, even when in a box, so I'd suggest still asking someone to give you a hand getting it up any stairs!) It took about 5 minutes to set up once I'd cut the various bits of plastic away, and they recommend leaving it for a bit to expand fully.

I've always been on a quest to create a hotel quality bed in my room and I genuinely think this mattress was the secret ingredient to this. The mattress is made up of three different types of foam that are designed to support, cool and relieve pressure. It's honestly the perfect combination of softness and firmness - not too soft that you feel the bed boards, and not too firm that it's uncomfortable.

The mattress has been in my life now for just over a month and I've slept like a dream. It's so comfortable, cosy and makes me never want to leave my bed. I've been sleeping like a baby and have literally not had a single sleepless night. It's quite honestly something that I'm definitely going to invest in for any guest rooms once I own my own house as a quality mattress is so worthwhile getting.
