(AD-Gifted) Creating a Neutral Home Colour Palette
I’m a big fan of a neutral colour palette - I think it’s a great way to provide a neutral base that you’re able to update with any colour trends. So when Desenio got in touch to ask if I was interested in choosing some of their frames and prints, I had to say yes!
I’ve shared about my experience with Desenio in the past because they’re a great and affordable company to get prints and frames from - and have a fantastic array of prints and frames for all aesthetics and choices.
I used their really helpful Gallery Wall tool which gives you the option of several gallery wall templates and then allows you to choose which prints and frames work. If you are working with a blank canvas, this is the perfect way to spark a bit of design inspiration and potentially suggest something you may not have considered before!
As I wanted a neutral colour palette, I started by spending a bit of time on Pinterest for a bit of colour and design inspiration. Whilst a neutral colour palette does help with a blank canvas, it is important to decide what shade/aesthetic you want to go for - which is where Pinterest is a god send!
For my gallery, I chose a mixture of photographs, line drawings and modern art prints - which when mixed together provide an amazing selection that work well with each other.
What would your choice of gallery wall be? Neutral or bold?
