NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks: My Picks

I've wanted to try the NYX Lingerie Lipsticks for ages but it seems every time I was in the vicinity of a NYX counter, the crowds swarmed and I genuinely just couldn't be bothered elbowing my way through people to snatch them up. But as if some divine intervention, I was in town on Saturday and the crowds parted and a ray of artificial light hit the counter. I was in.

So lets get to it. I love the formula. It's matte, creamy and surprisingly comfortable. The applicator, although it is doe-foot, it's incredibly thin which allows you to fill in your lips without having to use a lip liner. I'm a big fan and for £6.50 each, they're fairly affordable and definitely have become my favourite matte lipstick formula over my beloved Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks. They're very long lasted and really pigmented so I would highly recommend them. The only downside is that they are all nudes so there aren't any bright colours but as a nude fan, this isn't really an issue.

The first one I picked up was Bedtime Flirt which is a pink toned nude and is the perfect your lips but better colour on myself. It looks really natural and feels so comfortable. Although it's matte, it wasn't drying and didn't look like I was wearing too much lip product.

Then onto Corset which is a pale cool toned nude - almost beige in colour. It's a bit out of my comfort zone in that it is quite pale but I think it looks really effortless and very Tammy Hembrow (who is my latest instagram crush).

And finally, Embellishment which is a mauve toned nude and again fairly out of my comfort zone but I love it. I think it looks incredible with a really smokey eye which I'm a fan of. A really different colour although reminiscent of Jeffree Star's Scorpio, I'm obsessed,

Have you tried these? Which are your favourite colours?
