#PassTheLoveOn with Thorntons this Christmas (AD)

Just a few days away from Christmas, Thorntons challenged me to pass the love on through the joys of chocolate. The Continental Selection has genuinely been a firm family favourite for years so it was a no brainer on how I could share the love - by sharing a box of chocolates.

The last few weeks in my family life have been slightly more busy than usual so one evening whilst watching a film, I cracked out a box of chocolates!

As my parents still live abroad, one of the ways we share the love is simply by spending time together, something that often ends up happening in front of the tv, accompanied by plenty of chocolate! They arrived back just in time for Christmas so we’ve spent plenty of time watching all of the cheesy christmas films, sat on the sofa and with a box of Thorntons. As my parents have lived abroad for over 20 years, this is the first Christmas that we’ve all spent in the UK since I was four so we’re really taking the opportunity to spend plenty of time with family including a trip to spend a good long week with my dad’s side of the family in Lancashire. There will be plenty of cosy nights in, hot chocolates, and quality family time - a key part of Christmas.

Christmas is an incredible opportunity to spend time with your family and for this reason, Thorntons has partnered with SSAFA, the charity that supports our servicemen and servicewomen, veterans and their families.
