Bright Spring Lipsticks

As I write this post, there are birds singing, the sun is shining through my window and the sky is blue. Spring has definitely made an appearance and I doubt it's going to be disappearing anytime soon (touch wood, this is England after all). And with spring comes a  new updated makeup look where I embrace brighter lipstick choices and wave goodbye to those berry tones.

One of my all time favourites has to be the Little Mix Collection Lipstick in "Jesy" which I'm not sure is still available but it's a brilliant satin finish Orange-Red. If you're looking to get your hands on a similar colour, I'm obsessed with the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Matte in "Restless" which is matte but it's a match for the colour. On the theme of orange toned reds, Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in "Anna Nicole" is another favourite, which is definitely the most long lasting lipstick. I love the formula of the Jeffree Star lipsticks and this is no different. 

Onto a more drugstore offering, I can't help but still love Bourjois Rouge Velvet Edition Liquid Lipstick in Peach Club which is more orange than peach but is not too bright that it's neon. Calm enough for daytime wear. 

And onto a pinker tone, the Soap&Glory 3D Matte Lip is brilliant blue toned pink that has great pigmentation but is soft enough that it doesn't slide about too much so has a really long last time. It's so unlike typical chubby stick formulas as it is so pigmented and the texture is akin to lipbalm! 

Finally, the pinkest of the lot is the Sephora Liquid Lipstick in Strawberry Kisses which is a slightly subdued hot pink. I love the formula of these lipsticks as they are really long lasting but aren't too dry at all.
