Dating in Suffolk
With restrictions putting limitations on what we're able to do and who we're able to see, dating can be so much more difficult. Whether you're vaccinated or not, it's so difficult to know what the other person would be comfortable with and what works. With dating already being so difficult, restrictions have added another spanner in the works! But do not fear, as I have plenty of ideas as to how to can continue to date in Suffolk regardless of restrictions.
The Park Date Let's be honest, nature is a great start when dating during a pandemic because you're both outside, you have the benefit of being in an open space and there's plenty of room to socially distance. So say you've met someone on a Suffolk Dating Site - why not suggest a little park and picnic date? Both agree to bring some food (can be individually packaged if necessary) and find a space complete with a picnic blanket and you're sorted. Not sure where to go? Why not have a look at local Suffolk blogs for their advice on choosing a park.
The open-air drinks date With so many bars having open-air seating and beer gardens, a drinks date is a great idea for helping to get over those first date nerves... Again with it being outside, you're in a safe environment and there is often a good buzz about these places. Again, if you're not sure where to go, why not put in a bit of research or head to Tripadvisor - or a bit of Instagram research never hurt anyone. I'd always suggest a drinks date if you're not 100% sure on the person yet as it's a great commitment-free way of gaging the vibe (because the vibe is highly important).
Online Netflix date This would depend on how comfortable you're both feeling, but if you're not quite ready to meet in person, why not arrange an online Netflix date! You can bond over a movie or series and start to pick up on each other's likes and dislikes. This could even be a good date if one of you is feeling under the weather as it's always better to be safe than sorry. These are a great midweek date if you're limited by strange shift patterns or early starts because they remove any travel time. And we love a midweek bonding session!
Museum date A museum date is always so much fun and there are plenty of museums for Suffolk Dating date! A good way to have something to keep you both engaged, a 'doing' date is great to keep the awkwardness at bay as it constantly gives you something to engage with and look at. Plus there's something very wholesome about it all! Learn a bit about history or science and enjoy bonding with your date over it (and gauge those common interests - or lack thereof!).
