My 3 Favourite Orange Toned Lipsticks

When I think summer lipsticks, I think of orange lipsticks. Perhaps it's the bright colour but I love a good orange lipstick and because it's me, I love a good matte orange lipstick. I don't wear lipstick that much but because I don't have much patience to reapply my makeup, I love a good easy matte lipstick that actually lasts.

My ultimate favourite has to be the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Anna Nicole which is my ideal red/orange toned matte lipstick. It should be no secret by now that I'm a huge fan of the consistency of the Jeffree Star lipsticks as they really do last and don't smudge all over the place. When you initially apply them they're quite liquidy which means you're able to apply an even coverage without messing up the texture. This honestly lasts so well and you don't have to worry about it wearing off (unless you decide to eat twelve burgers).

A new one from last summer is the Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy Matte Sculpting Lipstick in Restless which is a wonderful bright orange. It's a really bright blue toned orange that I adore. It feels very summery - you'd be sure to blind people in winter! It doesn't quite have the staying power of the Jeffree Star but that's to be expected for a lipstick in a bullet. It does slip slightly so I wouldn't advise wearing it for a full on meal but otherwise it's great.

And finally is an old favourite, the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Peach Club which is quite a soft orange - a more peach toned colour. It's quite drying but has a really nice colour pay off. It's definitely a day time colour as it's quite subtle compared to the other two lipsticks.
