Gifts to just say thank you.

The sun is shining, skies are blue and there’s a distant scent of barbecues in the air… Summer is definitely on its way. With summer comes plenty of catch ups with friends, dinners in the garden and general entertaining, which normally encourages the reintroduction of the ‘Thank You’ gift. The ‘Thank You’ gift is non-compulsory but always welcomed with open arms, and is the official marker of being an adult (trust me). But in time for the season, it’s a great shout to get ideas like this narrowed down and prepared, just in case you find yourself invited to a summer soiree.

Chocolates

Something edible is always sure to go down a treat, as who doesn’t love chocolate? Depending on the level of get together, supermarket offerings are normally a good shout, but fancier options are always bound to be a hit! The gift co has a great selection of personalised chocolate options which are perfect for a birthday or slightly fancier occasion. Incorporate someone’s age or name onto a chocolate bouquet for a gift that will steal the show.

Serving Dish

I know plenty of friends and couples who regularly host a summer event so why not give them the gift of a serving dish with their names customised? If they’re regular hosts, this will be used all the time and will be something that will be well loved. I’d err away from this if you know they have plenty, but as a slightly bigger gift, this will always be appreciated.

The Alcohol Accompaniment

If your hosts enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, have you considered a personalised wine glass? Or maybe a pint glass? Often affordably priced, these could be the perfect opportunity to immortalise an in joke with a friend or just celebrate an occasion! Again, these would go down best with people who will use them so choose wisely!

What do you tend to reach for when gifting just to say ‘thank you’? If budgets are tight, a box of chocolates or a bottle will always go down well! Let me know what you tend to do in the comments below.
