Winter Day Moisture Savers
Now as much as I love my oils and moisture masks, they're not practical for the day as my makeup will just slide off my face. Day moisturisers are a thing that I've not always been on board with but my skin has actually been flaking off my face at the moment so I decided to up my game.
My go to for a while now has been the thisWorks In-Transit Mask, Moisturiser and Primer in One which I discovered with a free sample from an ELLE long ago. It's such a weird texture but I really like how it feels on my skin as it is incredibly moisturising without feeling too greasy and it's brill for majorly dry skin days. This is also one of my many moisture go to's for flights as it has the handy mask element.
But on a lighter front, the Soap&Glory Speed Plump All-Day Moisture Marvel is brilliant as it's quite a thin consistency that has a wonderful tackiness once it sinks in. It sinks in really quickly and leaves my skin feeling fresh - also, it doesn't make my makeup slide off my skin. Soap&Glory is definitely stepping up their skincare game. Get on it.
New to my collection is the Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream which is such a thick texture that it reminds me of a night cream which is why this tends to be my weekend/days at home moisturiser. I was a little bit disappointed as it doesn't smell like Vanilla (It has a typical Antipodes herbal scent) but boy is it good. I've been obsessed with how honestly hydrating it is as my skin definitely needs it. If I was to wear it on a daily basis, I'd definitely recommend popping it on about thirty minutes before your makeup as it is quite thick.
What are your go to day moisturisers? Any likes/dislikes?
