One of the best things about having a blog is the new products that I get the opportunity to try so I thought I would share some of the products that I'm currently trying and give you a bit of a first impressions.

For eyes, I've been massively into false lashes - there is something so glamourous about them paired with an incredible eye look so I've been trying my fair share of lashes. The Ardell Demi Wispies are my ideal lash because they wing out at the edges so really enhance the shape of your eyes.

Eyeliner wise, I've gone back to my ole' faves with the Collection Fast Stroke Liquid Liner which are by far the best on the highstreet.

Clinique Makeup is something that I've never actually tried before (to be honest, I've never actually tried much of their skincare either) so I was beyond excited to try some of their popular Blush Pop Lipsticks* and Intense Quickliner for Lips*. The colour I've been loving lately is Blush Pop which is a very 90's nude and somewhat reminiscent of MAC's Whirl. The lipstick is really lovely and creamy and the lipliner is brilliant and really pigmented (plus it's in a mechanical form so no need to sharpen it etc. So far, I'm lovin it'.

Makeup Geek has recently hit the UK (you can find them on BeautyBay) so it was no surprise that I would be desperate to try them. There will be a dedicated post on their eyeshadows coming soon but I've also been trying their Pigments - I have the shade Afterglow which is a stunning golden colour (I can't wait to do a couple of makeup looks using them). The powder is so finely milled that it could be easily used on the eyes or as an intense highlight.

And finally, a Sephora purchase - Tarte's Lights, Camera, Flashes which was a Lustrelux inspired purchase but I'm glad I did. It leaves your lashes big bold and with loads of volume - perfect with a pair of falsies.
