The New Accessory Edit
The only time you will ever see me wearing an accessory of some sort, are my basic earrings. I'm not a big accessory gal. Because I'm either writing or working on my computer, I rarely feel the need for a bit of bling and regardless of necessity, I really love simple jewellery which ends up often being out of my price range. I'm not a fan of big crystals or diamonds, nor do I like too much round my neck. But anything elegant or simple - I'm there.
So when Daniel Wellington contacted me and asked if I wanted to review a watch, I was hesitant, because I didn't want to accept something I wouldn't wear. But I did my research and spotted the Classic Petite Melrose watch*.
It's from the Petite collection which doesn't mean it has a smaller strap, but the whole thing is just petite. The face is small and the strap is far more delicate. Because of the beautiful rose gold colour, it's very much jewellery as well as a watch.
I have quite big wrists but it easily fits my wrist, with a bit too spare, so it very much feels like a bracelet and not too restrictive! This means it's easy to work on my laptop as it slides down slightly (intentional - but of course you can fit it how you like!).
I've been a big fan of rosegold (I'm a blogger - obviously), so it suits my bags and tastes perfectly and is oh-so-instagrammable.
Welcome to my life new watch, you're very welcome here!
