The Skin You're In

I'm a firm believer in taking care of the skin you're in in order to take care of yourself as a whole which is why I am constantly using facial products; anything to improve my complexion! When I was about 16 I had really bad acne and actually ended up going to a dermatologist who prescribed me some topical creams and such which sorted everything out.

My skin is so much better now (aside from the occasional blemish) but I am still overly conscious about it; even more so now my face is all over this blog!

I have oily/combination skin so only use cetaphil cleanser to wash it which doesn't dry it out and then I used an assortment of creams in the evening. Despite having occasionally oily skin, I'm in love with the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil* which is a multi-use oil (so skin, hair and nails). The bottle doesn't have a pump so I dip in a cotton bud and dab it on any dry patches like round my nose, between my eyebrows and under my eyes but avoid my typically oily zones. The oil isn't oily if that makes sense but it smells amazing and has definitely improved my dry areas!

For my evening I used a Delarom Aquaconfort Cream* which smells phenomenal (really fresh and almost botanical) and this has honestly improved my complexion so much and I've only been using it for a week! Containing natural vitamins, it makes my skin feel healthier and it looks far more even! It is perfect for sensitive skin like mine and hasn't made it react. Definitely give it a whirl!

My makeup remover and toner choice is the Garnier Micellular water as it doesn't leave a residue on the skin but almost dissolves the makeup, leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean!
