Five Things I'm Loving
Is anyone else seriously over monthly favourites? I'm not sure about you but I tend to use pretty much the same products and with study season in full force, you're lucky if I've even worn mascara... But I've been forcing myself to try new things, especially as I've finished some products and have some new ones to try. So here we go, five things I'm loving.
Clinique Pep-Start Hydroblur Moisturiser* is the ideal base for a day to day. It's slightly pink tinged and I'm pretty sure it contains silicon as your skin looks perfect afterwards. It's not too plasticky but sits really well on your skin, making for the ideal application of foundation or concealer on top. If I'm honest, I've been using this without any skin makeup as it does honestly blur your skin.
Clinique BIY Pigment Drops* if you're like me and enjoy a lighter base, these are ideal as you mix them with your moisturiser of choice to create a tinted moisturiser. Depending on coverage, you add more drops to the mix and it results in a really nice finish. The drops are yellow toned which is ideal for me - but I'm not sure if they're available in more colours or not.
Colorpop Ultra Matte Lip in Love Bug. I tend to wear one orange red lipstick shade (Jeffree Star Anna Nicole) but I've been forcing myself to try other formula's like this Colorpop version. The colour is far more rust toned and feels very autumnal but somehow it works in spring! The formula is quite dry but I find if I wear lipbalm underneath, it's not uncomfortable but probably wouldn't be the best for seriously dry lips.
Daniel Wellington Classic Petite Melrose* is something I've been loving. I love the idea of wearing a watch but I've never found a watch that works for me. Because it's a rose gold colour, it feels like I'm wearing a bangle as opposed to a clunky watch. Due to the 'petite' style, the watch face is slightly smaller which is ideal as it looks delicate and so pretty. (If you buy a watch, you can get 15% off with the code ELLIEGRACE).
Primark Eyelash Curlers are my first venture into eyelash curlers and I'm kicking myself for not using them more. I bought them as a blog photo prop as they're rose gold and really pretty but I love having more of a curl to my lashes. I find a curl to the lash really opens your eyes and so far, I don't have any complaints with this version!
